Stallion for full blood, half blood and pony breeding

Zinntaler has in years 1985-1988 (as a 2-5-year-old) taken part in 19 races, of which he won 5 and was placed 5 times. In 1986 he won the Austrian Derby. During his carrier he won DEM 105.190,- and in 1987 reached GAG of 91,5 kg, which only 3-5 % of German race horses reach yearly.
In 1988 Zinntaler was bought by the state stud in Hessen, Germany, for riding horse breeding due to his good riding horse type. During his time in Hessen he produced 98 foals and his progeny percentage was 70 % counted of 21-day-old foals. In Hessen Zinntaler was also used for ridersī training. In Germany Zinntaler is accepted for Rheinland (Hessen), Westfalen, Hannover and Trakhener breeding. His son Ibarra is accepted for Trakhener breeding and anglo-arabian Marud x is accepted for breeding in Austria and later on he was sold to Germany. In 1989 Zinntaler was selected as a "Horse of the year" in a German show for special breeds.
Zinntaler was accepted for breeding in Finland in 1999 for 5 years with points 9-9-7-7-7=39. In judgement mentioned ie: "Excellent thoroughbred type, noble and vigorous. Beautiful head, good neck and harmonious conformation." Zinntalerīs temper is excellent (vet check 9-9) and he is easy to handle in every situation. In 2004 Zinntaler was judged again and based on his foals success in shows, he was accepted for another 5 years.

Why are we using thoroughbred for breeding?![]()
Zinntalerīs whole pedigree is of race horses, which means that for hundreds of years the goal has been a horse that can stand physical and emotional stress.
For years have international riders asked for more blood in competitions horses: show jumping horses need more speed and flexibility, dressage horses need lighter type of horses. In eventing riding thoroughbreds is a must.
